That’s why creating positive change is at the heart of Grapes & Plates.

Giving Back

5% of our gross income from all of our events is donated to Empower Develop Dignify (EDD), a charity very close to my heart.

Founded in 2002 after the tragic Rwandan genocide, Empower Develop Dignify (EDD) is dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children from low-income backgrounds. They provide high-quality education that combines academic learning with essential social and emotional skills and equips young people with 21st-century tools for success.

Our partnership with EDD helps fund projects such as:

• Creating a kitchen garden at EDD to reduce food costs.

• Training parents on how to grow and prepare nutritious meals for their families.

By supporting these initiatives, Grapes & Plates helps ensure that children are healthy and well-nourished - critical factors for effective learning and growth. This focus on sustainable food practices not only benefits the community today but also nurtures a healthier, more resilient future.
