My friends booked Grapes and Plates for my hen do recently, and it was truly the best surprise I could've asked for! Alya was amazing, super knowledgeable but also super fun throughout. The wine and food we had was perfectly curated for our tastes - in fact Alya was kind enough to do a custom menu with multiple cuisines for us which was SO appreciated. Both the wine and food were incredible, and we had a fantastic evening with the Grapes and Plates team!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Grapes and Plates for a surprise hen party, and it was nothing short of perfection! Alya, the incredible sommelier and mastermind behind Grapes and Plates, has the most infectious personality - warm, fun, and completely in tune with what makes a truly memorable experience.
From the start, she completely understood the brief and brought our vision to life in the most elegant (and delicious!) way. Alya guided us through wine education in a way that was approachable, engaging, and genuinely fun - even those of us who aren’t wine buffs felt like pros by the end of the night. She presented a couple of carefully curated menus from different chefs (blindly, to keep things fair), and once we chose our perfect menus, together they orchestrated an evening not to forget.
The food was outstanding, the wine pairings were spot on, and to top it all off - there was even a spicy margarita that made the night extra fun! We requested one particular wine but otherwise left the pairings to Alya. Alya’s passion, professionalism, and attention to detail made this event unforgettable. Cannot recommend Grapes and Plates enough!

I had a great time learning about the history of a selection of white wines with Alya. One of the best parts of the Grapes and Plates experience for me was the paired food and comparing how the wines tasted and smelt when paired with different combinations. The ability to make notes on my favourite and least favourite bottles on personalised cards was also unique and useful to refer back to. Spending an evening guided by Alya's extensive expertise was an absolute delight.
